There’s nothing better than feeling welcome and comfortable the moment you enter a home and that’s what Alicia and her Sunapee cottage did for me and my family.
As others have mentioned, there’s no shortage of supplies at the ready (fresh towels, bottled water, hand soaps, etc.) – the little things that are too often overlooked when guests arrive – are thoughtfully available or noted where you’d expect to find them. The layout with two bed in a shared room upstairs made for great nights’ sleep for our boys as did the very quiet neighborhood – only the sound of the wind blowing through the trees was ever present when we left for the day(s).
Having spent five winter nights at Alicia’s lovely cottage, I can assure you that the forced hot air is more than up for any challenge. And, to that midwinter end, the location is prime for getting to the mountain on-time for ski lessons and lifts opening.
In short, it is the perfect size for a young family of four & we look forward to returning!
